Who Wants To Be a Scapegoat?: Name the defendant who was denied bail, kept in solitary confinement and shackled in chains.

1.  Charles Manson.  Mass murderer.

2.  Sirhan Sirhan.  Assassinated Robert Kennedy.

3.  O.J. Simpson.  Acquitted of murder, found liable in wrongful death lawsuit.

4.  Robert P. Hanssen.  Former FBI counter-intelligence agent.  Accused of spying for Soviet Union for 15 years.

5. Jonathan Pollard.  Former CIA employee, convicted of spying for Israel.

6.  John Deutsch.  Former CIA director, used laptop full of classified info to access internet thru unsecure line at home.  When discovered, started deleting files.  Paid off CIA investigator by getting her a private sector job.

7. Los Alamos employees who had hard drives with classified info on how to dismantle other countries' nuclear bombs and who returned them by placing them behind a photocopier.

8.  Wen Ho Lee.  60 years old, worked in nuclear labs for 24 years.  Lost or destroyed computer tapes containing nuclear weapons info, which were in the public domain or which were not classified secret.  The government later reclassified the information as secret after the fact in order to indict Lee and make him a scapegoat.  No previous criminal record.
